Face Fluid Fields and Seams
November 12–15, 2025 | Walkertshofen, Bavaria, Germany
From November 12 to 15, 2025, Dr. Bill Foley lectured at the prestigious Bavarian Pediatric School and Clinic for Traditional Osteopathy in Walkertshofen, Bavaria. His course, Face Fluid Fields and Seams, offered an in-depth exploration of facial embryology, biodynamic fluid fields, and the functional and anatomical seams that influence health. The program opened with an anatomical and embryological review of the anterior dural girdle, followed by laboratory exploration including the TMJ and the ADG fluid field from the head to the diaphragm.
Over the following days, participants reviewed foundational concepts through discussion and questions while expanding their understanding of embryologic biodynamic fluid fields of the face. Practical sessions focused on perceiving and working with facial fluid fields, exploring seams of the upper and lower face, the middle face fluid field known as the banana, and the sinus seam. Dialogue integrated anatomical, functional, and biodynamic perspectives, culminating in treatment applications and postnatal considerations, including the tentorium seam.
Throughout the four-day course, Dr. Foley guided participants in refining perception and deepening their understanding of how fluid dynamics and structural relationships in the face reflect the greater Whole. The collaborative environment fostered thoughtful inquiry and clinical integration, strengthening the participants’ capacity to work with the living forces that shape pediatric and adult osteopathic care.
